Taking time to stop and notice the little things in life and to find pleasure in them.

Some seaweed, sticks, and stones on a beach. — The lovley deep colours of the seaweed on the rocky beach.

Some moss clinging to a rockface — The wonderful texture of the moss as it clings onto the stone.

A broken shell washed up on the beach — Although damaged, there is still a beauty and wonder to shell washed up on the beach

Some dog lichen — Looking close, you can notice the fascinating little 'spikes' on this dog lichen.

Some coral on the beach — A delicate piece of coral found on the beach.

A stone with deep orange stripes through it — A wonderful rich splash of orange through this stone caught my eye.

A daffodil in flower — The first daffodil I spotted out in flower this year.

February can be a wet, dreary month, but if you look closely enough, there are signs that spring is just around the corner.
